Owner: Private Status: Design/Construction 2009/10 Scope: Develop Develop a sustainable method to cool resort buildings in a campus configuration. Designing a centralized ocean plate heat exchanger to cooling 40,000 m2 of building space. System integration includes swimming pool and domestic hot water heating. The project is proceeding with LEED certification, expected to be the first LEED certified project in the country.

Owner:State of Colorado Status: Completed 2008/09 Scope: Design and install the ground heat exchanger for the 30,000 ft2 Executive Mansion for Govneror of Colorado. Subcontracted to Chevron Energy Solutions to design and install a vertical loop field underneath and existing driveway and yard. The ground heat exchanger system designed is 24-400’ U-bend loops. The proejct was part of an ESPC project with the State of Colorado, Capital Building Campus.

Owner: Tucumcari School District Status: Currently Under Construction Scope: Ground Heat Exchanger Design. Project will use 94-300 feet deep boreholes. Due to distance, an undergrond vault we be used to collect primary header lines and supply to building with a single pair of 8" HDPE pipes. The boreholes use 1" U-bend loops and thermally enhanced grout. |

The ground heat exchanger is 42-400 feet boreholes using 1 1/4" U-bend loops and thermally enhanced grout. The borefield will also accomodate a future 20,000 sqft building located on the same property. |

Owner: Private Owner Status: Feasibility Study Scope: Provide an economic feasibility study using an energy model for 400,000 sqft shopping center. The planned approach is to use large water-to-water geothermal heat pumps units to replace the planned boilers and chillers. Factoring the local utility rates, installation costs, and expected maintenance costs, the life cycle payback was calculated to be 4.2 years.

Owner: Private Owner Status: Installed 2007 Scope: Ground heat exchanger design for a golf clubhouse in the Cornerstone Golf Club developement. Subcontracted to mechanical engineer, Bighorn Consulting Engineers, to design a slinky loop field for installation underneath a pond. The ground heat exchanger system designed is 24-800í coils. The pond loop serves a 10,000 ft2 golf clubhouse building. |

Status: Currently In Design Scope: An innovative design for a new fire station with the goal to achive LEED Platinum certfication. Design services includes GeoExchange systems including domestic hot water, integrated with solar thermal and solar photovoltaic systems. The system will use water-to-air heat pumps for space heating and cooling and water-to-water heat pumps for radiant floor heating of the truck bays.
